A Guideline on How to Properly Use and Preserve Lash Extension Adhesives (aka Semi-Permanent Eyelash Glue):
Prior to each use, shake all adhesives for 1 to 2 minutes. This ensures the adhesive is properly mixed for optimal performance. During application, before picking up or dipping the lash extension in glue, make sure to first isolate the natural lash. Once isolated, dip 2-3mm (classic lashing) or 1-2mm (volume lashing) and bring directly to the natural lash. Do not shimmy or "paint" or smear the natural lash with the adhesive. Simply press this adhesive to the natural lash base and hold for one to two seconds without moving.
Storage Tip: Keep the adhesive in an airtight container with dry rice (or silica pack) at room temperature. DO NOT store in the fridge. You can freeze unopened adhesives for up to 12 months. To defrost, leave at room temperature for at least 4 hours before using.

Q: What is the average shelf life of the lash extension adhesive?
A: Cyanoacrylated based adhesives have an average of 3 months shelf life when unopened. After opening, they're good for 6-8 weeks with proper storage.
Q: Why is my adhesive sticky and goopy ?
A: The adhesive is spoiled due to improper storage.
Q: I see separation in the adhesive, where the glue looks like it's separated. Why is this happening?
A: The adhesive is has been compromised due to heat or moisture.
Q: Why does the adhesive have a whitish haze on the lashes after misting?
A: This is called blooming/frosting. You may have cured the adhesive bonds too quickly. You can try misting and fanning throughout the appointment. You may also want to try skipping the Primer.
Q: Why does the adhesive have poor retention or hold?
A: The adhesive has been improperly stored or there is too much humidity in the workspace used when applying the lash extensions. In this situation, you may need to buy less adhesives to store and buy them more often to prevent them from spoiling.
Q: What types of humidity issues should I consider when choosing an adhesive?
A: When choosing an adhesive you need to take your workplace humidity into account. If your environment isn't ideal, don't worry as you can find out and control the optimal humidity with a humidity meter. Use a humidifier or dehumidifier to help you find the sweet spot. If humidity is too low, the adhesive will work slower. Whereas, if it's too high the adhesive will be speed up which may potentially be too quick to place in time for a good bond.
Q: Can I freeze the adhesive?
A: You can freeze unopened adhesives for up to 12 months. To defrost, leave at room temperature for at least 4 hours before use. Never microwave or apply any sort of heat to defrost the adhesive
